Spirou and Fantasio is a Belgian comic series by (originally) draftsman André Franquin and screenwriter Raoul Cauvin. Spirou might still look like the neat piccolo in red uniform he once was, but his life is now a lot more adventurous than that of a hotel helper. Together with his inseparable friend Kwabbernoot and Spip, the funny squirrel, Robbedoes fights against criminals all over the world. And his opponents are no less: he has to take on the terrible scholar Zorglub or the evil pirate John Helena, against the Italian mafia and Chinese gangster gangs in New York or he unveils in Palombia the secret of a mysterious animal: the Marsupilami.
