The Marsupilami (Marsupilamus Fantasii or Marsupilami franquini) is a fictional animal from the comic strips by the Belgian cartoonist André Franquin. The Marsupilami is a sole walker, a good meter and equipped with a very agile tail of about eight meters. The Marsupilami is very useful with its tail and therefore uses it everywhere, to take out an enemy, to move on, and so on. The Marsupilami appeared for the first time in 1952 in the series Spirou and Fantasio. These two heroes found the animal in Palombia (South America) and brought it to Europe.
