The Schapenweide is an area of ​​3 ha, located on the eastern border of the municipality of Middelkerke, between the Duinenweg and the Kustbaan, only a few hundred meters to the west than the provincial domain of Walraversijde. In the direction of Middelkerke, the dune belt runs to the center. Throughout the area you can walk on the paved roads. The Norbert Dedeckere mountain bike route also runs through these dunes. Caution! Pedestrians may only walk on paved roads and mountain bikers may not leave the marked route.
